This is an incredible tribute to WWII veterans, and an interesting story of how it came about.

This afternoon I drove my S the twenty-five miles east to go visit "The Wall". the Korean War Memorial and the WWII Memorial. I hope that other took a minute out of their day to observe the "true meaning" of Memorial Day?

I like to remind others that Memorial Day is not really about sales and shopping. :-(

I hope that all enjoyed the holiday.

P.S. this reminder was taken at the Korean War Memorial on 29 May 06.
