Big bucks for a stinkin' chair? Last night on TV12 (PhilaPublicTV) our neighbor, Nancy, was featured on the broadcast from Summer 2006 visit to Philly. It's near the end of this week's "ARS from Philly- Part 2" segment.

Here is a 'screen shot' (sorry about the flash) of Nancy, the appraiser and the chair that she (with her sisters) found in 'Grandmothers Attic'.

Nope, but I just paid $195.00 for this little table, that probably came out of someone's attic. Just because I liked it.

No one got rich off of it, but I like old things............that's why I hang around here.

 

People were really quite thin back in 1910, ah?

 

Probably designed by a thin, starving architect....

 

It's only worth what someone will ACTUALLY pay for it.
