Any ABBA Fans?
Sue and I just got back from the theatre tonight. We saw a production of Mamma Mia in Columbus. It was super fantastic!
I've always liked ABBA songs (started liking it after seeing the movie "Muriel's Wedding"), and it was neat to see the songs integrated into a story. The songs are timeless and the beat really gets you moving. The audience went wild, especially at the extended encore at the end.
The group putting on Mamma Mia is at the beginning of their North American Tour.
You can see where they will be playing at their web site www.mamma-mia.com
Long live ABBA!

I haven't seen it. We were supposed to go to Las Vegas two years ago, for my birthday in January to see my choice, of Blue Man Group. I was told that Mama Mia was even better. Haven't gotten there yet to do either.

We saw it in Boston several years ago. We went out and got the CD of the broadway version. I wasn't much of an ABBA fan back in the day (except to look at the women). I guess I have a softer side now.
