Even though you are struggling, I'm impressed with your vision of what you are wanting to do with your painting. The artist's brain amazes me. You'll get it, I'm sure!

Something I have noticed over a lifetime: People who aren't very good at something think they are better than they actually are. People who are really good at something get very frustrated that they aren't better at it. I think this tendency decreases as we grow older.

Sort of a variant of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

I should go heat up my garage and start working on my next stained glass project. It's snowing here and my Saint driving volunteer job was cancelled. No ElliptiGO riding. I do have a new huge cat tree to assemble. The cats will be happy.
I finished putting the cat tree together at 3:30 AM. No more excuses for not starting another stained glass tree.

^2-8-2020. Maury couldn't wait to try it out.

What a great design that cat tree is. Very industrial yet eye appealing. I want one and I don't even have a cat.

I seem to collect that cat tree. I have two of them in California but had only a smaller version of it here in Colorado. Now that I have three cats here and will have four in another 2 weeks, after I bring my Siamese, Zion, back, I decided to get one for here.

^The directions are assembly images.

Patty
Pun intended, you need a cat walk high above the room.

Barbara has been busy again. Doesn't have border binding on yet.

^Here's a screenshot of a post I just put on my Facebook page. It's something I've always wanted to do and I don't know if everybody's got these where they live but I've never gone to one. My daughter's gone to a few and I think it's going to be fun even though I have to drive at least an hour and a half to get there in Denver tomorrow night during rush hour. It benefits the Rocky Mountain American Association of Zookeepers.

More information from the organization's post on Facebook...

Canvas and Cocktails - that describes my art room. Have fun and don't spend too much.

Yeah, my drive home is 71 miles. I have to behave. I adore my daughter and like painting and wine so be I'm sure I'll have a good time. There will be some of her zookeeper friends there as well.
