Where's William Shatner when you need him?

 

Well, I was wrong about the younger woman. She is not married. She referred to the guy as her boyfriend. They had been dating and he had met her parents. And Ms Nowak had been stalking her for a couple of months before this incident. Not a pretty picture.

 

Nowak had apparently just recently gotten a divorce from her husband of 19 years -- two weeks ago.

 

^^ Maybe she was lonely -- took a drive to FL using her space shuttler diaper training, taking her pepper spray in case she needed it!

But hey, she just wanted to chat!

Seriously, do you lawyers (legal minds) see the circumstantial evidence against Nowak holding up on an attempted murder charge?

 

She won't look like her mug shot in court. Not a lawyer, but I don't think the 1st degree attempted murder charge will hold up.

 

I feel sorry for her.....hate to sound like a tree huggin PC pinko, but something has gone terribly wrong with her physically or mentally, and I feel bad for her and her family. The poor kids....can you imagine this being dragged out in the media spotlight, whilst the young ones watch and deal with their peers.

Gotta be W's fault somewhere in there.

 

Someone has to give Leno material besides Bush. He had some great lines last night and even said this would give him a week's worth of jokes.

How does shooting someone with pepper spray equate to a murder attempt? That's as nuts as she was.

I read a news article today that said she was under a great deal of stress that probably contributed to her lack of judgment. I'll try to post a link later.

 

Apparently there was something between the guy and her that caused his former wife to file for divorce, according to the ex's mother. So I guess she was more than a little upset when he transferred his affections to the younger woman.
