We just returned from a 15 day cruise to the Hawaii Islands. Here are a few of my favorite pictures taken at an Orchid farm.
These only a few of the total pictures I took while on our trip but I thought you all would like to see some of the colors.

Beautiful orchids. I love HI! Tell us how you liked your cruise, too. I've never done one there.

 

I'm curious if you really enjoyed it as much as you thought you would. We were planning to go but after talking to a neighbor who went this year, her report was far from encouraging.

 

Nice, Lee. We did our Honey Moon trip to HI twenty-two years ago. I'd like to go back sometime.

 

FWIW, a 15 day cruise really gets to be old as we spent so much time getting to and from the island chain.
It took 4 1/2 days to get to the islands from LA and 5 days to return. If I had hair when I left, I'd be bald right now. That's much too long on the ship with nothing to do but drink expensive watered down drinks and blow cash in the casino.
we have plans to go back but this time, we will fly and rent a condo on Maui. That has to be the most scenic place I have ever been to.

Here are a few shots I took from the ship of Maui with the Canon. It was too heavy to lug around the day we went ashore. I have others I took with the point and shoot that i may post. Anyway, i hope you like these.

I think if I were to do the cruise thing in HI, I'd fly there and back and cruise around while there. The long sailing time to and from would not appeal to me. Did you go to Kauai? I thought that island was incredible.
