This might be old news but I hadn't heard of it before. Baitcars to capture car thieves. The videos are disturbing and funny at the same time.

A few observations I made while watching them. The f*#* word is a noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, or in other words, can be used anywhere in a sentence or what passes as a sentence among these fine people. Car thieves often buckle up, even while smoking crack. Car thieves talk a lot of BS amongst themselves until the cops arrive.

The article that led me to the BaitCar site. Precautions to take at the mall when your car is loaded with Christmas goodies.

Right on! now if they would just keep them in jail, instead of the "catch and release" policy that we have here in CA.

We could try treating them the same way we treat problem bears. Tranq them. Helicopter them deep into the woods. Set them free to live (for a little while) free from the temptations of human society.

Jail ?? Heck, just keep them locked in the car till their time is up. Maybe in a big open parking lot so you can point and laugh at them when you have nothing better to do.
