Default Better than a Erector Set

I got a 48 room martin house for Christmas that I'm assembling. Remember the little screws and nuts in erector sets? This is going together just like one. This birdhouse had to be designed by an erector set fan.

Charlie took my other one when he blew through and I didn't have one out last year but I had martins looking everywhere for it.

I hope they come back

Pretty birds

Ohhhh....I had to put one of those together several years ago. Its not that complicated, but it does take awhile. I mounted mine on some 2" galvanized pipe
and belive it or not it survived Rita

That's not a house...that's an apartment building. I loved to watch martins growing up down in eastern NC on the lakes/swamps there. There were houses and also lots of gourds for them to nest in. Maybe the gourds were for swallows. I get them mixed up sometimes.

Deb:

The Martins actualy prefere the gourds. Some people where i live string them up
between poles. Although the the houses do look better in your yard.
