I guess you guys in and around Indiana know Bobby Knight better than anyone, but to me he represents the worst in college athletics. Win at all costs -- no matter whom you hurt in the process. Even at TT he was constantly in hot water. I don't know much about his son Pat, but I wish him well.

I can't agree with the "win at all costs" assessment, although I can understand it. Knight could be a collosal jerk but his kids played hard, played clean, and graduated and not once was it even hinted that Knight cut any corners in recruiting. I also love his philosophy of College basketball and life. Talk to almost anyone who played for him about all he did (and in many cases continues to do) for them.

The active coach I most admire, Mike Krzyzewski, had this to say about the retiring Knight: "
