Default Canada vacation pics

We're back from Canada. For anyone who is interested, here are some pics. I'll try to break them down by area. We had only a couple blue sky days. We had drizzle, rain and fog on the others. But, we made do, and enjoyed our road trip in the S.

Home safe and sound, no grass on the tires this time.

We were in the Bay of Fundy, known for it's extraordinary tides : 100 billion tonnes of water daily
Each day 100 billion tonnes of seawater flows in and out of the Bay of Fundy during one tide cycle more than the combined flow of the world’s freshwater rivers!

Hopewell Rocks area at low tide. That's mud folks.

Return trip later in the day

More low tide pics, kids love mud!

Tide is up! These areas are where we were walking in the morning, and where the kid was playing in the mud

While waiting for the tide to come up, we had another destination in mind, but saw a sign on the highway that said, "CAR SHOW". We followed the sign. One good thing about vacation, you can do what you want! We saw quite a few Mercury Meteors....did we have that model in the States?

Betty reminds me of Val, of course!

more to come....

Nice pics so far, Lainey! When we went to the Hopewell Rocks, it was drizzling and foggy, and there were very few visitors on the sand, unlike in one of your pics, when the "beach" was crowded. Glad you got to see the tides change.

Reversing Falls area, hoped for boat ride, but they were canceled due to weather, also Fundy National Park....not great weather that day.

Downtown Moncton

St. Martins. Low tide!!

Lots of fog! There are caves in there you can explore.

Fundy Trail

Still more....

St. Andrews. LOVED the murals around town. The view from our deck at our last place. A little chalet in the woods.

Took a ferry ride for lunch at the 45th parallel

Last, took a ton of pics at Kingsbrae Garden in St. Andrews. I'll just post a link to a slide show...it's less work.

Thanks, for looking at them, Gene. The scenery in Nova Scotia was more impressive, but we saw some neat things on this trip as well.

Thank you for sharing your trip photos, Lainey. Too bad about the fog and drizzle. That's interesting country. I've never seen mud like that. I like how you have the same rocks with the tide out and then it.
