...but,a S2000,MY08,is still selling for $52000.00 over here;how do you explain that.???

Honda is still mad that they haven't been invited to visit Possum Lodge.

(Check the CAD/JPY exchange rate. You'll see that the prices should have been dropping, since the CAD now buys more Yen than it used to. But maybe the dealers paid for those cars from Honda at the higher prices, and now can't afford to sell them for less?)

 

Emil, I was wondering, are all the Honda models premium priced like the S2000 in Cananda?

 

A Civic's base price,4 doors etc...goes for $19000.00 Cdn.
A S 2000 goes for $52000.00 Cdn. (naked,no options whatsoever...)

Don't understand the pricing but it sure is a neat website

 

Isn't it usually taxes that makes up most of the difference? For example, most countries in Europe have high gas prices mainly from the taxes.

On top,and above the sticker price of $52 K,you have to pay,right there 15% taxes;so the price of a naked S2K,taxes in,=+/-,$60,000.00.CDN
Mine cost me around $63,000.00, 7 years ago...
