Some of us have had the same avatars for as long as we've been hanging around here. Some of us have "seasonal" ones, like PokJim/NY. Legal Bill's avatar suits him perfectly. We have people pics, S2000 pics, pet pics, horse galloping (dlq) scenery, and whatever suits our fancy. I like to switch mine up now and again. I now have a butterfly. I saw this butterfly in SC the day after my sister passed at one of her favorite places. Google tells me it's a Gulf fritillary. We obviously don't have these in MA. Because I associate this butterfly with my sister, I have had a photo of it printed and hung it on my gallery wall, with other favorite pics.

So, who else is ready for a new avatar? It must be time to shake things up around here.

Gabe has been gone for 7 years now, but I can't change it.
Not yet anyway.

 

I'm keeping my red rose. The plant was one I grew when living on Acton, California, and happy. I love that rose. I don't think another photo will bring me the same joy while being easily spottable.

 

You know I'm not changing mine. I won't know how. And, I don't want to have to move . . . I like it here.

Lainey, I really like your new avatar. I like Patty's too. For me, every once in awhile I put a new one up temporarily but I always go back to the one I have now. It's just that I've used it so long it feels comfortable.
