I think you definitely should drive the particular vehicle before making the deal.
Especially comparing it to such a sophisticated and well developed car like the S2000.
I have a co-worker who built up a cobra from a kit.
It looks great but drives like a crappy pickup truck.
The lack of braking made it a terror to drive at anything over 30.

I have another buddy who just bought this backdraft racing version.
His car. I suspect Roy's car is sorted better.

I was talking with a neighbor who's a mechanic and was working on a Cobra at his home which caught my eye. They look sooooo good! He said it was a customer's car that he's worked on, when needed, for years. The mechanic kept asking me about my S2000 so I took him for a ride. When we got back he said the S2000 was hands down winner from every aspect except torque and he was going to recommend the customer test one.

I love Cobras. Is this one a kit car or original? I don't know how to tell them apart. I could never buy the original, but saw a "fake" sell at auction for about 27,000. Had 600 HP. Yow!

I don't know if ANY real Cobras are currently for sale, but if so would be in the half million dollar plus range. I suspect this is a kit. Very pretty, tho.
