Concerts
Rob's posting of the John Prine song got me thinking about concerts I have seen over the last almost 30 years. When I went off to college (after growing up in a small town in central Texas), I went to every concert I could think of that had ANY interest to me. I went to everything from classical to rock to jazz to country to cosmic cowboy to bluegrass to blues.
A partial list of bands I remember off the top of my head - and I'm sure I am missing a lot
Willie Nelson
Waylon Jennings
Tom T Hall
Jerry Jeff Walker
Kris Kristofferson
Johnny Winter
Booker T and the MGs
Bukka White
Jelly Roll Morton
McCoy Tyner
Earl Scruggs and sons
Bill Monroe
BB King
Bobby Blue Bland
Steve Goodman
John Prine
Virgil Fox
Andre Segovia
It's a Beautiful Day
Ok enough, the point of this thread is what concerts (groups) have you NOT seen that you would love to if given the chance. For me, I think it would be the WHO in original guise.
After reading some of the replies below - I had to add Yes and the Police (though I have seen Sting in concert) to groups I wish I had seen in concert.

My first popular music concert was in a grade-school gym, ca. 1962 -- the Beach Boys; and the most recent really wasn't recent, about 1995, Wind Machine. In between there have been too many to remember, even if I hadn't been in a chemically altered state of mind for many of them. I do recall Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffet, the '70s Bob Dylan, and Chicago as being quite good -- memorable, given that I remember them. Sure wish I could remember who that was at Red Rocks.

Concert prices are way too high now, and I don't like the crowds and uncomfortable stadium seats. But, I would like to see Eric and J.J. if I had the chance. Santana would be another that I would like to see.
