(Link to continuation thread)

It is hard to imagine but China has quarantined 3 cities with a population of over 57 million people.
This larger than California's. 50 plus have succumbed.
it is now in the US.in 5 locations. Worse yet, it has a 2 week gestation period.

This is very scary. I hope it is better under control before we fly to Europe in April.

I heard on the news that the US has had substantially more flu deaths than the cornavirus has caused.

So far, 8,200 people have died and 140,000 people have been hospitalized during the 2019-2020 flu season, according to preliminary estimates from the CDC
the coronavirus is somewhat troubling because it was a new popup no one had seen before.

^^ Thats the main concern I have heard. In and of itself it does not seem more severe than the flu can be. But it is the unknowns and how quickly it will spread before controlled that is more of the concern.

They say companies from luxury retailers to airlines and banks are reeling as the disease accelerate. Keep in mind the role China plays in the world economy.s

True. We got our flu shots. They didn't inject any corona though.
