Well... I made it home safely.

Started the day when I met up with CitadelBlue for the drive over. The weather was OK with patchy fogs west of Frederick, MD. Got to Rocky Gap Resort and found the crews waiting for us: MDRocket, spt-s2k, canberra, Brad, Dave, and Bill who just happened to drive by the parking lot!

What can I say... These roads blew me away. I thought US 211 down in VA was cool. It's nothing compared to the road that Brad & Dave took us on. Not to mention being in the western MD/northern WV there was little traffic. The weather even cooperated: all the fog was gone by around 11-ish. All in all, what a great day and great company to go driving with.

Enough talking... Pictures I took today. Converted straight to JPEG with no processing (because my Lightroom hasn't arrived yet!).

Used to ride motorcycles in western Maryland for years, while living in Frederick. It is a great area with great roads. Hope they do the meet again; I'd like to attend. Nice pics.

It's good to see all of these, last drive of the season pictures. For us who have a winter, time to clean, wax, and put the S away. Looking forward to next driving season.
