I love it on the rare occasion that it happens. After reading this, I'll make time this year to get on some more interesting roads that don't exist close to home. Unfortunately, I seem to be spending a lot of time doing the school bus samba instead of dancing with cars!

Anyone remember International Harvesters Square Dancing Tractors?

Now there'd be a challenge in an S.

Where is Grannyrod

Btw, is anyone else suprised that so many voted for the 8-10 group? I thought more would pick the "1-2 others" category....

I'm not surprised. If some S2000's are good, more are better.

The more the merrier, as long as they are experienced drivers, and we have a drivers meeting ahead of time.

This way everyone is on the same page, and knows what to expect.

^ I love driving with other S2000s when it's done safely, like the Vintage drives. Corona_S2k (Dave) lead one last weekend that was fun and safe too. I have also been on about four others that were too fast, and in three of them, people went off the road. Darned if that just doesn't throw a wet blanket on the whole thing. I love the way Vintage uses walkie-talkies to chat a bit too. It makes it more fun to me than just driving together.

A bigger group means you get to have fun with more different cars. (Or more different colors, if they are all S2000s.) I enjoy running with cars I'm not likely to ever own.

That said, I'd actually prefer no more than 6-8, but I picked 8-10 because that was the closest.

I can't wait to drive with a group of S2000s at a meet. I like running with other cars if there is no "innocent bystander" traffic around. Around here however, there is little along the lines of sportscars, just a lot of dream sportscar roads.

What do you guys do on a drive such as the SR26 run if you catch up with a car? I've found that this is entirely too easy to accomplish, yet entirely too hard to fix . There are very few places to pass safely on such a road. Also, how hard does the "spirited" group push it? How high do speeds get, and what percentage of the car's cornering ability would you guess you're using?
