Default Dean is engaged! Uh-Oh...

He can post the details if he wishes, but I figured some of you may want to pass along your comments. Keep it clean, please.

'Tis true, 'tis true. I bought a ring and the whole package - Diamond Solitaire Princess cut in a Platinum setting. I've never bought one before in my life and don't know squat about them, so I had to enlist the help of my oldest daughter. I am guessing from the reaction I got that we done real good.

Since my nuptials seem to be on permanent hold - - we may have to party at yours instead. Do you have a date in mind?

OMG!! You must be smitten!! Taking the trip down the aisle!

Best wishes to you both.

It's been a bit dull around here. This should liven the place up.

We're looking at about a year down the road. She and I both want a very, very simple ceremony. And she would like to do the deed on a beach in Maine. Her second choice is on a beach in Key West. I'm good with either one, as long as I'm invited.

Well phrased.

Congratulations, Dean. I hope you find the hapiness you search for, or at least the in-car cup holder you've been needing.

I'll leave the easy shots to the rest of the jokers.

Good - plenty of time to plan. Beach idea is great. I love both places, too.

Congrats, may you be married as long as we have been, but then you'd be really old.

Oh, there is so much one could say, Dean. But let’s just stick with:
Congratulations to you and best wishes to your betrothed. May you both enjoy the renewed youth that a late summer romance can bring and may you grow old together in peaceful contentment. Hmmm…sounds like a Hallmark card. OK, may you have a few wild rides along the way.
