Death with Dignity
I've seen friends and loved ones suffer. Some fought hard and didn't want to give in. But that is a choice they made. Others may not did not make the same choice.
I believe people should have the right to determine when they have had enough and can't bear the pain and suffering any longer. It is their choice to make. This is in conflict with my religion but it is how I feel.

I definitely support “right to die” legislation.
Rational or not, is it considered suicide? Does it affect your life insurance, wills, trusts, unpaid debts and is there some prevention of litigation against all involved in what is considered autonomous decision making (even the direction of a living will has been taken to court)? How will your religion, friends, and relations view the actions?
Just curious.

This thread should not be relegated to the political forum. Everyone should have the right to choose the and the stigma forgotten. We need to have control over our life and death. Euthanasia will become a reality as has gay marriage. I hope too many will have to suffer before it is a reality.
