Our sympathy. Did your Dad post here under a name I may recognize?

BTW, as obituaries go, his is very well written. It gives a good glimpse into his life and who he was.
I apologize for the confusion in how I posted. I just pasted the obit as a post. He was not my father; he was a good friend and we regularly conversed although I never met him in person. I did not write the obit.
Thanks for the info, Deb. I'll take a look at the thread.

To whomever wrote the obit, it was a beautiful tribute, IMO.

Link to his website:

He did lots of work, so if you go to Paintings I Had it takes a long time to load but worth the wait. He did a wide variety of subjects and styles.

RIP Jon.

Lainey, I too thought the obit was unusual and really good.

RIP Jon, I read most of his posts at s2kca.com, I didn't realize he was on this forum as well. He always said whatever he was feeling and his posts were just as he was described in his obit. He came across as a real man, and there are very few of us left in the world.

Did he ever own an S2000 ?, no mention of it on his website.

Jon owned a Sebring Silver AP1 which was in good shape and rarely driven for any distance. His license plate read “MY TD”, as he was an avid fan of the MG-TD but unable to afford one.
