Stumbled across this website the other day when I was feeling particularly gloomy. Thought maybe I had a bit of Seasonal Affective Disorder and found this. Due to a downturn in my spinal situation I have for the first time been experiencing some deep depression, myself. I now have a promising therapist and am trying Wellbutrin as a medical treatment. I read the article and it helps in understanding the phenomenon of depression.

Jim I hope you feel better soon. I took Wellbutrin to help get me off cigarettes and it proved to be a good drug.

 

My dad has been put on Zoloft and it's been two weeks. He's much happier now but it's hard to know if it's due to the Zoloft or that he's recovered from being sick with pneumonia. He's in an Alzheimer's place on Kauai.
