Why would Brad Pitt stop acting? (I don't keep up with the Kardashians either)

It is just something I heard in a video or a podcast or something. Maybe reading a review of Bullet Train. Sandy confirmed she had heard the same thing. I suppose if you google it...
Why did Bill Gates stop running Microsoft? If I had to guess about Brad Pitt, it would be that he figures he has all the money he will ever need and wants to do something for other people. He was really involved with New Orleans after Katrina and has done a lot of other pretty good things in the last few years.

I'm watching Bringing out the Dead tonight with Nicholas Cage among other notable actors. I'm about 3/4 of the way through it and think it is pretty good. First time seeing it.

Watched Samaritan, the new Sylvester Stallone movie on Prime the other night. It was entertaining but not earth shattering. Stallone did a good job with the role.

Watched The Way Back, a 2010 movie of survival that's unreal. I recommend it.

I don't know if someone mentioned Martian but I watched it and I really liked it. It was a very good science fiction movie directed by Ridley Scott, starting Matt Damon and other star studded cast.

Which leads to this request: posting the viewing source would be helpful to all of us, since there are numerous streaming and cable outlets for movies available to most of us.
Thanks!
