Discussion and review of Good Movies
Here's some others I (we) have watched over the past couple weeks. Grace & Frankie series; only made it through the first year. Lily Tomlin makes the show but not enough to for us to stay tuned in on Netflix. The Last Bus a sentimental story on Prime that we liked. The Gray Man on Netflix (I think); don't waste your time. Hanover Street on Prime with Harrison Ford in WWII London affair; we liked it. Dreamer with Kurt Russell; horse racing story; good story; we liked it (I think it was Netflix). Eyes Wide Shut; an oldie, Tom Cruse & wife; a waste of time even with the porn (not sure where I found it). Bridget Jones Baby, just a so-so movie/comedy (maybe Prime; don't recall). Endless Love (2014 version) was good (I think Netflix; if not, Prime).
Being laid up for so long with my surgery I've watched a ton of movies and its really getting hard to find a new or old one I like.
I'm really looking forward to hockey season next month.

Watched Sweet Country on Prime. Based on a real 1920 murder where an Aboriginal man was arrested and put on trial for murdering a white man in Australia. The acting is great and silence is a nice change from normal background music. It got great reviews but heavy use of flash-forwards and flashbacks totally lost it for me (I like things organized).
We watched it last night. Not my kind of movie. All the CGI stuff, running through burning walls one-after-another, etc.
I watched last night and feel the same. I found it somewhat entertaining but certainly not over the top. Anyone looking forward to Lord of the Rings: the Rings of Power? It premieres Sept 2 on Prime and from what I've read, no expense was spared in making this. I'm looking forward to this one.
Watched The Way Back, a 2010 movie of survival that's unreal. I recommend it.

A Polish man who had been imprisoned by his own wife's false testimony under duress under communist rule escapes from Siberian gulag and survives tortuous journey back home after many years with one single purpose of redeeming his own wife who lived with guilt all those years. This is a movie definitely worth watching for older generation such as folks in this vintage forum.
Watched Jurassic World Dominion on the Peacock channel last night. It wasn't as good as the previous movies, but it was interesting. Only problem I had was the length of the film -- wayyyyy too long, but I did enjoy watching it.

I usually try to.
