As many of you know I see a lot of movies (42 so far this year) and I have to say that today I saw one of the best movies that I have seen in years. I saw 'Rental Family'. While many may not like it as it is not a shoot'em up, blood and guts movie plus it had sub-title (surprised me) but I really enjoyed it. The entire movie was set in Tokyo and it would not have been as good if everyone spoke english. The subject matter really touch me and from what I think I know about Japan I could see it happening.

Thank you for the review, David. I won't watch violence or scary movies so this one might work well for me. I have an NSX friend who is an NSX mechanic, and is the same age as my daughter; both are 38 years-old until Feb 2026. He/Jonathan has been living in Japan for around 4 years, after marrying a Japanese woman. I'll mention it to him.

^10-10-2015 at NSXPO in Palm Springs, CA. I won a raffle prize and got to ride in the 2017 NSX with Peter Cunningham. Jonathan took my money and purchased the raffle tickets.

^9-2-2023. Jonathan was in the US and came to visit me. We took the 2017 NSX up to Estes Park.

That is at the theater. For some reason I can't hold my interest when watching at home. I usually go at least once a week and sometimes, like the past two week, twice. It is a nice get away from real life.

Train Dreams on Netflix is a really good movie about the entire life and struggle of a logger and railroad worker in the early 1900s.

This is old as far as movies go, but it is somewhat of a classic. For some it is the iconic volleyball scene, for others (like me) it is the flying.

Anyway, I thought that some of these facts were interesting:

That was cool Matt. All that behind the scenes stuff in any movie is sometimes more interesting than the movie.
