Discussion on Television Programs
Weeks ago I fell into a rabbit hole and started watching the series Scandal on Netflix. 7 seasons with some as many as 22 episodes. I finally finished it! In many ways it was like the Washington DC version of Better Call Saul. There was some torture scenes that I had to fast forward through. There are endless flips all the time where good person is bad person and bad person is good person. So you get the drift.
I got a kick out of Brockmire in the first couple of seasons but as they went on they must have kicked all the writers off the set and hired new ones. It turned into a totally different show and I gave up.
I watched the start of the Designated Survivor series. I had seen it before but the first season was especially good, so I watched it again on Netflix.

I watched Scandal when it was on originally. I might have given up on it with some of the torture scenes, crazy plot. I liked Designated Survivor, watched it when it aired. Watching Brockmire now. Not sure we will stick with that one.
I'm also watching Homeland. I have come close to giving up on it. Lots of plot twists and characters to keep track of. However, when I'm ready to quit watching, there is a cliff hanger at the end of the episode, so I am still watching.
On Paramount we are watching Landman and The Mayor of Kingstown, lots of violence on the Mayor of Kingstown.

A friend recommend 11/22/63 on Netflix. We just started watching. I'll report back.
The eight-episode drama, which was originally a Hulu Original series, follows a high school teacher who travels back in time to try to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Just finished watching The Abandons on Netflix. 7 part series. With a warning of "Gore, language, nudity, sex, sexual violence, smoking, violence" how could I pass it up?
I thought it was pretty good.
