Looks Nice.
The S in the pic looks almost like a 4WD S. ...

I do like it the way it is too.
^^^ It's nice. I don't really think anyone is going to look at the logo as a defining document that necessarily lists the all groups that are invited. JMOH

[I don't know about NJ, but the 4x4 S would work great in Colorado, Jeff! ]

I like the logo, but why does the S have pick-em-up truck tires? Kidding man, it's sharp!

More or less. I turned 40 this past June.

If I do ever make it to one of these events, then I'll get the badge. But I mostly only travel for business. I guess you could say I'm still in love with the Pacific Northwest. I pretty much take all my vacations right here in the mountains.

Maybe one of these times you have another event involving a race track....

Mike, many folks here have not yet made a meet, but they have the badge.

I'd be soooooooooooooooo happy to give you a Vintage Badge.

Yes, I meant to explain that it was my criteria for these badges, not that of the group. We'll see, I may change my mind one of these days.

Rob,

Mebbe just use the logo of the NJ/NY chapter, since they are the hosting org? Or, NJ/NY logo with an "And Friends" under it?

The only proper club insignia to use on this logo is really S2KCA because the Northeast region of S2KCA is hosting this event and S2KCA is sponsoring it(and providing some of the funding). But since people here wanted equal time for S2KI, which in my opinion was not appropriate, I have decided to eliminate all of the club logos. The new version is being prepared now and will be posted this week.

Aye, Aye, Sir Point taken.

I'm signed up through S2KCA, but just as easily could have been through here. I sincerely hope this split allegiance stuff will work itself out and be less contentious in time. Heck, I pay and play at both places for a reason, after all - good friends here *and* there. Personally, other than that, I'm really not sure I care who sponsors the event - I'm good either way :-)

It is all about the cars and the people.

I stuck my neck out by inviting all of the groups that I did. I was trying to bring the members of both clubs together. You'll note that in my introductory posting I mention that this is the first time, at a major meet, that the members of the two organizations would be driving together. I assumed that there would be some flak, but I didn't care. I too think the people are more important. My point wasn't to bring S2KCA and S2KI together, but rather to bring the people together.

The reason the club insignias were to appear was to acknowledge that very fact. Apparently that didn't sit well with people here. Apparently that's why someone like Emil wanted S2KI mentioned. Apparently S2KI is what's important.

I refuse to make any organization more important than the people, so there will be no club insignias, even at the risk of losing the sponsorship. Fortunately, I think the folks at S2KCA will be ok with my decision.
