I remember at the age of 3 looking from the end of the block up to our driveway, and a Goodyear truck was delivering our first TV - an Admiral B&W (of course). We got two channels (NBC and CBS) all of the time, and if the weather was good we could pick up ABC from Austin.

So, instead of "My Friend Flicka" we got "Fury" instead.

I remember meeting Hopalong Cassidy and riding with Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower in a parade n St Cloud Minn. All in the same day.
It's a barely memory, I was around 5.

I remember my Dad's yellow and white 1954 Chrysler Golden Panther Deluxe. I remember fudgsicles were a nickle.

I remember our two movie theatres in my little home town. The Rialto was $.14 admission. We would get $.15 with the extra penny for a piece of gum. Our second theatre in town was simply called "The Little Theatre" and only cost a nickel for admission.

What a great link! Jughead's pal, Archie! I remember watching Bwana Devil through 3D glasses. They left out The Buster Brown Show on Saturday: "Hi ya, kids, hi ya." "Hi, Froggie."

Hmmm...been "Vintage" for a few years now, but I don't seem to recall the 50s. Oh, yeah, 'cause I was born in the 60s!
