Default Do You Use Oil Additives?

I've used some of these products like Slick 50 and Duralube in the past on my high milage vehicles. I have not used these products in the S or other performance cars and wet clutch motorcycles I have owned. Have you used them or have info on their pros and cons?

My mileage is increasing daily. Will these additives help with the lines in my face?

Sorry, back on topic.

Nope, I've never used additives. I normally put over 100,000 miles on a car before selling it and buying something new, so I change over to oil for high mileage cars. Like my S. I have 80,000 miles on it so I'm now using Mobil 1 High Mileage.

I guess I should use the spell checker, or not be in so much of a hurry, or edit, or something/

I've never seen the point. Most modern motor oils whether conventional or synthetic already have additives that do what the bottled oil additives are supposed to do.

I think reasonable OCIs will do more to promote engine longevity than anything else you can do.

^ Im with raymo on this one. My S now has 108k on it and it gets driven hard well it gets redlined regularly like it was built for. Runs better than brand new. My oil of choice has always been Mobil One synthetic and not the overpriced gimmicky high mileage version.

Never used any additives. I believe that Honda recommends not to use any additives.

I don't believe in additives. I sold a Toyota Solara last year that I put 155k miles on. Changed the oil every 5k miles with store brand oil and it ran like a new car when I sold it. (No smoke, leaks.)
