I am curious about signatures. The web site claims that the maximum number of characters is 5,000. My count is 1717. However, not all of my signature shows in my posts.

I can only assume that the size of images (badges, etc) count towards this size limit?

Please advise.

Yep, those images count. I had to take out some stuff, so mine would show completely with the HCII banner.

 

If you click on a person's avatar name, you can see their entire signature that is words. The little badges don't show, but everything you write in your sig does. That's how I keep track of my meet attendance.

 

Patty- You need a new system Your sign only shows HALF of the Oct 2007 meet entry....nothing earlier than that

 

Jery, when I click on my avatar name, Kyras, I see my entire signature with drives back to 2003. You don't?

 

Not Jerry, but when I click on your name, Kyras, I see all of your meets starting with the first one in July 2003.

You are correct and now I understand....but not many folks go around "clicking on your avatar name" b/c there MIGHT be more words on your sig than are displayed. If it's just for YOUR tracking, then I understand and agree that it's a neat system
