Yes Gene - Your last post was not updated to the database. Problems have been fixed according to krazik, but ones lost this morning (Mon 2/9) apparently are not being restored.

Well, there are mixed results on the internet...I've never used online job sites (like monster.com), but people in the online job chats I look at complain alot about resumes seeming to get lost in cyberspace. Never hear anything. But that is also true these days with jobs applied for in other ways. The most frustrating thing about a job search it seems. Most advisers on this topic say that personal contacts and networking continue to be the most effective means to finding a job.

 

I was downsized last January and rehired by the same company two weeks later. Unfortunately, it is in another state. My home is one state and my apartment is in another. I get home for the holidays (six times/year) Another 2+ years and I'll be driving my S whenever I want, wherever I want, and as long as I can still push the clutch in and move the gear shift to the next gear, for as many years as I want.
