Duck and Cover
I remember watching films like that in elementary school, and being so frightened. We practiced the "Duck and Cover" routine in school regularly up through the 6th grade. People in our town who had the $$ were building Fall-out Shelters to keep them safe.
In the film, they show houses, trees, etc, flying around in the blast, but the turtle is still safe in his shell.

That is hilarious.
The film was designed to make us all feel safe in the event of a nuclear attack but when a 50 megaton device explodes anywhere nearby, Ducking under a desk may make the kids feel safe but...well....
When that came out, I was stationed at an isolated raar site in Manitoba Canada keeping an eye our for Soviet bombers coming over the pole.
That's similar to the feeling I'm safe when I go thru the gate checkpoint at the airport.
I must look like trouble becuase I get wanded about half the time
