Who is Duncan Hunter? It told me that my candidate is Bill Richardson; not surprising, since I've agreed with a lot of his positions but he's got about as much chance of becoming president in 2009 as I do.

No. But I am NOT a one issue voter. I look at the big picture.
IMO the first priority is protecting our way of life. If the American People vote in a President that is weak on defense and puts up a time table (AKA for surrender in Iraq) or the Christian right or / and radicals on either side (either Muslims in the Islamic right or the Christian Religious right) have there way it will erode our freedoms (either by having government interfere in our private life and matters (Sex lives, life styles, what goes on between consenting adults behind closed doors, etc) or on the other hand dictating or adhering too strict Islamic rule, that is not tolerant of conflicting views at all.
Correct me if I am wrong. But it is my understanding that it is OK for a person of the radical belief of Islam to lie to a person that they consider an infidel. This is the mentality that we are up against when it comes to perserving our life style. Perhaps it distills down to this: Give them an inch and they will take a mile?
In the end, I do not feel comfortable with the soft approach with an "enemy" that is sworn to destroy us as an "infidel".
