Well, I don't normally watch basketball, but some of these games have been surprises. Like Duke's loss. And the Illinois/Arizona game was certainly exciting. I thought Illinois was going to lose, but what a comeback. So are they going to be #1?

 

More exciting games yesterday...I think Illinois was favored to win. Is that still true?

Yeah great weekend of games. Not one team in the elite 8 that didn't belong there and I think the better teams won every game. So much for the continuing weekness of the big ten, harped on my so many talking heads. I mean sure, the ACC is probably deeper. Sure Wisconsin and Michigan State benefited from early round upsets, but on Sunday, both showed they belonged. They can only play who they are matched up against. Anyone that thought Wisconsin could score 82 points is yanking your chain.

This big-ten (eleven) homer is wishing for an all big-ten final, but I would settle for another national championship.

Yes, UNC does it again. I am sure Michael Jordan is happy for his school. Though I didn't watch the final game, I wanted to see UNC win. I felt bad for the Louisville team for Rick Pitino but maybe next year! Over all, this year's March Madness was one of the best!
