There's been a lot of chatter about ChatGPT recently. Some people jumping all in right away, others skeptical. School are already trying to figure out how to address what may become, and they are talking about ways to digitally watermark files to avoid the same issues. Investments by Microsoft, etc... I see this as one of those techs that could be transformational and shift the way the world works (good or bad, today or in a decade).

A story I watched made a comment that humans will start to become editors and not authors.

In that same story however, they asked questions and got back clearly wrong (not subjective) but wrong information. Apparently, it scrapes the internet (which of course has only true information) to collect data for its AI to use for answers, responses, writing, whatever else it's used for. One example they gave was the 2016 election, where ChatGPT responded that Hillary Clinton won the election and was president. Infancy, the tech is in its infancy, who knows where this will go.
