I felt good about having been out in the sun, and what it did for my body and soul.
This sums it up for me. It's soothing, relaxing and all your cares seem to fly away when out in the "S". I'm not sure all children of the 60's would agree, but it just may be a better high than drugs.
(Not that I know, but I know some I could ask).
I couldn't agree more, Rob. Spring and Fall are the best times to be driving a roadster, but I think being able to drive one all year has its attractions too, what with the varied environment and experiences.
This coming Sunday my two brothers-in-law are coming over to help me swap the winter tires for the summer ones, change the oil, and fabricate the hardtop hoist in the ceiling of the garage so we can remove the hardtop, hang it from the ceiling, and allow me to FINALLY motor top down. That's something I haven't done since Fall Colors 04, when Hardtopguy installed the hardtop on the car.
I am SO looking forward to top down motoring. Kim, our oldest daughter, is coming home from Korea this coming Saturday for a 2 week vacation, and she and I will be doing a number sightseeing trips together here in Illinois and up in Wisconsin; we definitely will be using the S for most if them, other than the trips downtown to Chicago.

On Sunday, Sue and I drove to Kingwood Garden in Mansfield OH to look at Spring flowers. There weren't many yet, only tulips. There will be a Flower Festival May 6, so we will return then. We had the top down part of the way, but the temp. was still very cool, so we chickened out and put the top back up.
Believe it or not, our 2004 just turned 6,000 miles. I know I've got to drive it more, but I don't want it to get beat up.
I'm off to San Francisco for a week starting this Friday(visiting my mother), so I will be driving around the Bay Area in a rental. Sure wish I could rent a S2000 as I zoom up and down the many hills.
