Chbaz, I told you to keep the faith. Sox will reign. Bastards. That just leaves us and the Cubs on the misery meter.
Oh, I have faith, Carmen... I just didn't want to get all wrapped up in the game while everyone was hangin' out....

Lookin' good so far, kids.

Also, the lunar eclipse is about halfway at the moment. Don't miss it!

I'd like to see some psychologist do a white paper on the psychology of what happens when a team goes down 3-0. It's got to be emotionally and mentally debilitating. Almost impossible to overcome. And why is this? Teams win 4 in a row all the time during the year. The Sox are a team of destiny this year. After what they did to the Crankees they should win it all. They will win it all.

Ohio eclipse update: Full now, and orange. Weird. They said it wasn't supposed to be full until 11:04.

And the weather guessers said we were supposed to have clouds and rain all day. I had the top down all day. It was beautiful.

There's still time for the Cards. A slow roller down the first base line in the 8th could do it.

Well, there's the penumbra, which is the outer cone of darkness (sounds like something Marco would be proud of) - and it's now fully covering the face of the moon. I guess I misspoke - it's not considered totality until the umbra (the inner cone of darkness) covers it fully.
