The Godfather II
That movie was on a couple of weekends ago. I did not see it from the begining if that matters. But, I thought it was a bit hard to follow; jumping from time frame to time frame spanning several decades back and forth the way it did. I lost interest and moved on.

We just had a marathon Godfather I-III weekend down here on one of the stations. Guess who's operating on absolutely no sleep today because III didn't end until 4 this morning. I'd forgotten how long they were.
I love early Pacino.

For what it is worth. I grew up in Queens NYC. I went to seventh grade at PS 108 that was directly across Rockaway Blvd from Aquaduct Race Track in Ozone Park. Ozone Park was the home to "one of the Families" and I have memories of walking to school down the grid system in Queens, turning a corner to find police lines set up, where they would find someone in the trunk of a car. Or handcuffed into the back seat with the engine running with a piece of clothes dryer duct slid over the tail pipe and into the back window.
I also had a teen aged friend that lived next door to "one of the usual suspects" who's house backed up to Aquaduct Race Track. It was common place to see New York's Finest pull up and take him out in hand cuffs on a regular basis. He would be home hours later.
