Kids were bring told littering sux since the 60's. I still get trash from thje lopcal convenience store on my lawn. They frankly too stupid to learn.
"R" means squat at the megaplex. Buy your ticket for "Bambi and Tammy Become Friends" and you can get into "The 40 Year Old Virgin Looses It" since there are no ushers anymore.
Hell, if there wre, they'd have to be wearing Kevlar tuxedoes.

 

Why was this moved back to 'polytics' without explanation? Because of one testy post that mentions 'virgin'? There is supposed to be a post by the CO informing others that the move is about to take place.

 

I'd like to say that there is no good reason for the rating, and they should keep their hands off, but having been addicted to a two pack a day habit for the better part of 30 years, I'm not so sure. I don't want to see another rating, and I'm not sure it would even work, but if it helps to keep kids away from cigarettes, it might be worth a try.

I didn't vote because the choice that I'd have picked, "I don't know, I can see both sides" isn't available.

 

Unfortunately, the harder that you try to 'educate' teenagers and keep things away from them, the more enticing becomes the 'forbidden fruit'.
