Default Google logo today

Its Jim Henson’s 75th birthday and the Google logo has changed to some of Henson’s characters…

Go to Google (won't work on iGoogle....)... and click on the buttons under each character to see it watch your cursor move around the screen. Click on the puppets mouth to see it open its mouth…

Found this by accident…

Click on the middle character’s button, then the button (pinkish/red one) to the left of that… then the button to the left of that (big blue muppet)… then click on the bluish elephant button, then on the green worm type button…. Then sit back and watch what happens (may take a minute, but watch what the guy on the right side does! …

OK, refresh or reload Google...

Click on the blue, then green then red buttons...

Then click on the pinkish one, then move your cursor up above that muppet....

Wait a few seconds and watch!

Looks like a few different button pushing sequences will do the same things...

It appears that someone has entirely too much time on his hands today.

I agree.... been sitting here for a few minutes trying different sequences to get the two blue things to do something besides open their mouths!

If you rapidly click the buttons their mouths move as if they're chatting. How do I know this? Because the op here caused me to waste a bunch of time clicking the buttons. Actually thanks for sharing.

Some programmer is probably paid 150K a year to think these things up and make them happen. What a job.

Could be. My son has been working at Google this summer interning. He's back to UCSB next week to work on his Computer Science Phd. They paid him very well and he liked working there very much.
