Default Got a hardtop

I ordered a black Honda HT from HardTopGuy a few weeks ago. It arrived missing a couple parts but HTG sent out the missing parts a few days ago and I spent Friday afternoon doing the install. Took a couple of hours and no adjustments were required.

The S is much quieter with the HT. For long trips this is the way to go. Love the look of the Sebring Silver w/black top too.

A PVC rack is my next project.

What is the problem with local dealers getting hardtops? I tried to order one from my dealer and they said "sorry, no can do."

Congrats Ed....probably also cooler in your Texas summers?

Yes, I also like the black top on almost any color of S

I'm guessing that the local dealers just don't want to be bothered with a 'special order' when they'll make a 100 bucks profit or so. You should ask Jeff about it....he'll give you the scoop

By far the majority of the noise inside the S2000 comes from the transmission tunnel area. I discovered this by accident when I did my interior mods, as I have virtually no noise now.

The black top must look great on a Sebring Silver S. One of my friends (my_yella_s2k over at S2KCA) has a black top on a Rio Yellow Pearl and it looks great. And Sebring is the nicest color to begin with.

Post a few pictures of it.

Enjoy it.

I enjoy my hardtop, it really adds a finished look to the car.

I highly recommend the PVC rack, it's very stable and looks good too. I added foam to the contact areas on the rack to protect the top.

I'll post a few pictures tomorrow. Have to agree with Rob that Sebring is the best especially with the black/red interior.

I'm not so sure about the interior. I'm partial to black, but as long as the outside is Sebring its all good.

Picked up a hardtop a couple of years ago, and really like how it looks on the car. Borrowed this design from Jonas and made a hoist for mine. Much easier to install by myself. A black hardtop would look good on any color .

Love this look!!

I find that you hear the wind less and the motor more. Nothing bad about that! :-)

I like the hoist ^^^. Thanks for posting that picture.

Actually both the engine noise and wind noise decreases but the engine noise becomes more noticeable. Same thing happens on a motorcycle with a well designed aftermarket windshield.
