GrannyRod is "off the hook"
Everyone,I took today off as a "personal day" to deal with getting our "Exploder" through Virginia State Inspection and emissions testing. While I was in line at the inspection station a young woman in a Sebring pulled in behind me. I struck up a conversation and asked her if she knew about S2Ki.com? She did not, and I gave her a "s2ki.com calling card". While we were waiting I told her about the various "communities" and mentioned the drives (SF, FCT, local drives, etc).
I made the comment that everything that one could ever want to know about the S could be found here and that it is important because so few Honda dealers know the details about the car. As an example, I recounted the story from SF04 and how GrannyRod watched someone retrieve something from their "secret compartment" and subsequently discovered that "her car had one too".
Well Angela, you are "off the hook". As you had only had your car for about a year. You would have been pleased with how excited this S owner was, when after four years I showed her her "secret compartment" and almost tripled her storage capacity in the cockpit of her S!
She thanked me and told me that it will be full by this evening!
P.S. With 208,760 miles on it. It passed emissions.

Hope she stops by here to chat with us old folks.
I guess that it will be interesting for her to see if there are more than than the four S2000's that she thinks are in her native Oklahoma. She told me that she use to V-Tec all of the time in the OK state. Now that she has gotten four speeding tickets in Fairfax County (the home of revenue enhancement) she has changed her driving habits a bit.

4 Years and 210k miles ...

If so, you have the highest mileage that I am aware of. What oil do you use and how often do you change it?
There is a Mid-Atlantic guy (For the heck of it, AKA, Peter) that has 110K on his turbo charged S.

Are you stating that you have 210K miles on your S2000?

I think someone is confused with what must be the mileage on the "Exploder".

Whew! Thanks for letting me off the hook dear Matt. Just another one of the benefits of belonging to this community. Glad you stopped and shared with her. Glad to know I'm the topic of some of your S stories.
I hope she joins up, I'd like to shake her hand for getting me off the hook.
PS: Leave it to Matt to be the master of ambiguity. Which car/truck had the 200k+ mileage?

I just do NOT UNDERSTAND?
I clearly stated that I took the day off to get the "Exploder" through state inspection and Emissions in the first line of my original post.
I will refrain from making a comment from a post that I made last year about what other details some of you miss.
That comment would be here if I where making it.
