^Why is that? I'm not familiar with Pinellas Park.
It was where the Terri Schiavo "demonstration" was held. We had forgotten all about it and drove through the area. It was one of the most disgusting spectacles I have ever had the misfortune to witness. It looked more like an audition line for the Jerry Springer show than a protest.
I'll be driving down to Greenwich Ct. for the Concours show in June and then later that month I'll be driving down to R.I. to celebrate fathers day with my Dad. In July I'll be joining in the Green Mountain Tour and I'm hoping to make some more exploratory trips, I'd like to see more of upstate New York and I'm also planning on going up to the North East Kingdom of Vt.

Yesterday I decided to take an early run down Rt. 164 here in Ohio. This road is rated up there with the Rt. 26 run, also here in Ohio. This time I decided to try and catch Rt. 164 further North than before. Added 20 + miles of back roads from last year's run. Turned out to be a good idea as it cut out all the highway driving, and this section of Rt. 164 is also fun. This is about a 140 mile round trip run that I really enjoy, and is close to HOME.
I'll do this run several times during the summer !
I don't have anything formal planned yet due to the pain I have in my wrist (can't drive long stretches and the reason I dropped from Spring Fling), but for sure will be doing day trips around the local areas like the Catskills (including New Paltz and Woodstock), Adirondacks, Bear Mtn and Berkshire areas.

I am also hoping to do some of the trails on the NY web site, especially the Seaway Trail NY Road Trips
I probably won't take the S, for this trip but I may also be driving from NY to Chicago to see friends we have there. Might stop and see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on the way.
Happy Driving to all
Is the last phot from Storm King Highway?
Trip to Ennis for the Bluebonnets. Its spring in Texas and all the wild flowers are in full bloom. Best time of year!
Great pics, Poks. We're taking the S down to Topsail Island (about 600 mi rountrip) the end of this month and then sometime in May we're thinking about taking it down to Myrtle Beach SC. We're planning to take the blue highways. Took about a 125 mile jaunt Sunday into the rural areas of Bedford and Campbell Counties (wow -- great scenery). We may try to the Ohio 26 drive, but aren't sure whether we'll go north much this year since we've done north the past couple/years and want to do some exploring this year.

Starting June 18, the wife and I are going on a road trip in the 'S'. We are goin to tour the Four Corners. New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. We are going to spend time at the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Escalante National Monument and Carlsbad Caverns. This will be the first long trip we have had the 'S' on. Due to limited trunk space, we will be doing our laundry along the way. We expect to be gone about 3 weeks.
