We do nothing.

One year my mom had made some chow mein on St. Patrick's day. Not traditional St. Patricks' day fare, obviously. One of my sisters thought a touch of green to the gravy would be good. She put in a little food coloring. It was extremely unappetizing. Mom was NOT happy with her!

My +1 Chris' birthday is on St Patrick's Day, so we celebrate both together. We usually have a party at our place, but this year it's Spring Break, so we didn't do the usual.

Happy Birthday, Chris!

I will wear something green most years, but thats about it. Not a big drinker, and when I do drink... its nothing 'Irish'.

I didnt even wear green this year as it didnt occur to me this morning.

Around here, it's like a national holiday. Many of the schools are closed, all the bars open at 6am. I was near downtown at lunchtime and there were 3 helicopters plus the Goodyear blimp covering the parade - the crowd is typically 100k+. I'm hiding out at home - no real celebrating, especially since I gave up alcohol for lent.
