Default Halloween

I mentioned in another thread that Halloween is always a big deal at our house. We just came back from Sam's club with $85 worth of large candy bars to hand out.

Donna use to make all the costumes for our kids when they were growing up. Some of the good ones got passed on. Here are two she made - Pink Panther and Garfield. My son got to use them for his boys. He just forwarded them down to FL for my youngest grand daughters who got a big kick out of them even if they are a little too big for them.

Large chocolate bars, wow that is pretty darn good, if I wasn't so far I'd drive over just to get one. lol.

My wife is a Halloween fanatic, the house is all ready and we will be buying some form of candy to give out. We have an old school pirate that activates by motion sensor and it scares the bejesus out of every kid that comes to the door, lol.

We used to have a full size dummy that was pretty realistic looking. On Halloween we put him in the window with a sheet over him, but his hands sticking out. One little kid told us our friend was dead.

From the Weekend thread:

Was hoping to see younger adorable grandniece play soccer last Sat and celebrate her birthday, but she came down with a stomach bug Fri night. Fortunately tested negative for COVID/flu/RSV. So now we are celebrating on Halloween by having nephew and family come over for brunch with the girls in their costumes. Then they will go home to trick or treat. Weather will be great Sun after a very rainy Fri and showers Sat.
Vito and I have decided to dress up as hippies for our brunch on Sun. Should be fun...tie dyed shirts, tie dyed bandanas and colored glasses, and peace symbol necklaces. Groovy... OK, minus the weed.

Now the 64 thousand dollar question is why doesn't the other one pulled out of the box say Snikers?
