Happy Canada Day!

I am reminded of the joke about an Irishman walking into a bar in Canada and orders a pint of Guinness. The bar tender says: "I can tell by your accent that you must be from Ireland, what brings you to Canada?" The Irishman replies: "Well I was sitting in me pub in Dublin having me a pint and the coaster stated: Drink Canada Dry. So I thought that I would come and give it a shot!"

^ I once was checking into a small motel in Gatlinburg TN, I asked one of the maids if she could direct us to our motel room as the room numbers seemed to be odd. She was kind enough to help us (she had a very strong southern accent). As we were walking away she asked one of her colleagues what language we were speaking, as if we were the ones with the accent. I died laughing as I was pretty sure we were all speaking English. lol

A common joke about Canadians - If you accidentally step on the foot of a Canadian, they will say sorry. lol
