Ah. So Catholic? Or Anglican/Episcopalian? (Not judging. Just curious.)

Roman Catholic yes, no meat allowed on Good Friday so we had cod fish dinner (quite good actually) , but we can eat meat again now. Steak dinner today.

Sadly no. Steak dinner. One of the first years my Mother and Aunt are not cooking an Italian meal, not much of a get together this year as everyone seemed busy or not interested in gathering. I am just home with my wife and son, we usually do a big get together with extended family.

We went to USNA (Annapolis) for Sunday Easter Service. There were so many people for both Catholic Mass and the traditional Protestant Service, the one we attended. I was greatly encouraged by such large turnout. Brigade of Midshipmen Chapel with rotunda and twin pipe organs on each side just seemed magnificent! Singing Eternal Father towards the end of service made me feel thankful for all those who serve our nation currently and those who have gone before. I hope to go back for the service from time to time.
