Ah, chocolate! I miss my Cadbury Easter Eggs...my Mom brought two over from Ireland, but she made the mistake of giving them to me a month ago, so they are but a distant memory.

Dave, Any RiteAid store in Cherry Hill will have Cadbury Eggs....probably even on sale today

Or are you saying that there are 'real' Cadbury eggs and Cadbury eggs for the American audience

I plan to stock up on 1/2 price Zitners PNB eggs later this week

Merci beaucoup, Emil! I got some Peeps of course...the yellow chicks. But once they were gone, no more...Whew - talk about sugar overload.

I think you mean the little Cadbury's Creme Eggs, which I love, but these are the ones I'm talking about:

The Easter Eggs I'm used to can be anywhere from about 1/2 lb up, and you won't find them here except in Irish/British import stores.

The Cabury chocolate in the US is made by Hershey, and to someone from Ireland or Britain, is like trying to pass off a Cimmaron as a Cadillac - it just doesn't taste the same!

I like the Neuhaus chocolate the best. When I was in Germany, they had what's called, "kinder eggs." It is basically egg shaped plastic covered with chocolate. Inside the plastic container, is all kinds of interesting toy items. It was a lot of fun for kids.
