At a pub last night my wife was talking to some folks at a table next to us and mentioned what she spent this year for treats. $150.

I thought I was a big spender shelling out a double sawbuck on treats!

I keep telling my wife we should have lots of candy in the house just in case.
She's not buying my line.

We had a lot of kids.

Many of the suburbs around here had trick or treating last night, but the weather was very bad. Rain all day and all night yesterday.

Our official time was tonight from 6 to 8 pm. Apparently, many parents drove their kids to our neighborhood tonight. I am guessing those kids did not go to their own last night because of the rain.

We started passing out two per child but had to stop that, and then just passed out one per child.

We ran out of candy a little before 7:30 pm, so we turned out our light. It is the first time that we ever ran out of candy.
