Has the S changed your life?
Despite rumors to the contrary, "Worcester" does NOT rhyme with "Dorchester". Correct (native) pronounciation is "Wisstah" though more worldly natives might retain the "R" at the end and pronounce it "Wisster". Other acceptable versions include "Wusstah," and Woosster" but never, ever "Wor-chest-er."
Al (graduate of Wisster State College, when there was a lot less history to learn, and former resident before moving to "Ox-fud"!)

Al, you're too funny. So true, though. Natives say "wistah!" The pronunciations of these towns around me give everyone trouble (especially non-native like me)...
Anyone want to take a guess on:
1. Leominster (lemon-stir)
2. Leicester (lesta)
3. Athol (this one I won't pronounce!!)
4. Scituate (situit)
5. Medford (meffa)
... the list goes on...

One more and last try it's the best I could muster (mucester). Got work to do.
There was an old fart from Worcester
Who met a lass as sweet as a left handed wrister
On the ice she was just as fast with the puck
She drove anS2000 instead of a truck
And now they're Mrs. and Mr.

Another thing that I did because of the S2000 and this site was to get a digital camera. I wanted to be able to share my pictures quicker and easier so I got one and figured out how to use it--no small feat!

Well I do have one with my feet and I will have to get it for you, Matt. I took it on Saturday when I was sitting in our motorhome on the bed, at the beach looking out the window watching the dolphins play. It was a great place to be.
(I just didn't want this to be a thread you killed so I added on.)

P.S. I am trying to resist getting a complex about being a "thread killer".
P.P.S. I guess that I should have added a question about you having a foot fetish or something simular to it?

Missed this thread last week.
The S has not really changed my life, but it has added to my circle of people in my life. I have developed a few new friendships and many new acquaintances. The car has been a real positive addition.
