Are you going to see THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL? It starts today. We won't make it today and my daughter's coming over tomorrow. I'm dying to see it, but I guess I'll have to wait until maybe Sunday. Let me know if you like it.

 

The original was on last night; I watched the last 20 minutes.

 

AMC is playing the heck out of it. I missed it yesterday, but it was on earlier today and I caught the last part. I LOVE that movie. Never goes out of "style."

 

I should get to it over the holidays, this next week and a half will be crazy, but I really want to see it.

 

Looks interesting... I'll try and see it in theater but if not I now have Netflix which so far has been awesome.

 

I'm going to see it in about an hour. The original is my all time favorite sci-fi movie. I hope this remake does it justice.

 

I'm not familiar with the movie. I guess I could google it.

 

I think we're going to try to make it tomorrow. I hope, I hope, I hope.

I saw it yesterday. I don't think it builds suspense as much as the older one. Gort is pretty impressive though.

The only thing really negative I can say about it is that I am very tired of Hollywood preaching to us. I'll leave it at that.

On a scale of 1 - 10, I would give it a 4 or 5. The original movie I would give an 8.
